Common questions about FuzzWuzz, the games, and the network they run on.

What is FuzzWuzz?

FuzzWuzz is a small collection of browser puzzle games you can finish in a coffee break. The games are built around NFT ownership on the Base network, and everything runs in the browser.

What games can I play?

Two. Grandoku is a number puzzle on a caged grid, with one solution and no guessing. Poker Tableau deals you a deck to place into a grid, building the best hands you can. Both are listed on the Games page.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Pick a puzzle and finish a round in the browser. There is nothing to download and nothing to install.

Do I need to create an account?

No. FuzzWuzz asks for no sign-up beyond your wallet, so there is no email address to hand over and no password to remember.

Which wallet do I need?

Any browser wallet that injects a provider into the page. FuzzWuzz talks to the standard window.ethereum object rather than bundling one wallet's SDK, and the site names MetaMask as the example when it finds no provider.

Which blockchain does FuzzWuzz use?

Base. The main site at fuzzwuzz.xyz is configured for Base mainnet, chain ID 8453. A separate Base Sepolia testnet configuration, chain ID 84532, is used for development.

How do I play Grandoku?

Each outlined group of squares is a cage, and its numbers must combine to equal the target shown in the cage's top corner, using the operation given. Single-square cages are freebies: fill in the target. Each number from 1 to the grid size may be typed only once in any row or column. Numbers may repeat within a cage, but never within a row or a column.

Do practice puzzles count toward an NFT?

No. Practice sessions in the Grandoku Dojo trainer do not count towards NFT minting.

Can I look up NFTs a wallet already holds?

Yes. The NFT Viewer takes a wallet address, or a contract and token ID, and shows what that address holds.
